Everywhere/Nowhere

We are surrounded by a generic landscape that varies little from one place to the next. Regional architecture has been surpassed by a landscape

of shopping malls, parking lots, and construction sites; I photograph in these areas that remain undefined, making sense of them

by applying my own aesthetics. In doing so, I can transform them from a placeless environment and capture fractions of the landscape that hold a sublime beauty.
